The information on the Firm’s activities contained in this website is provided in compliance with Article 17 of the Italian Code of Professional Conduct for Lawyers of 16 October 2014. The person responsible for the website is Ms Perla Sciretti.
Article 17 – Information on the Practice of the Legal Profession
1. A lawyer is permitted, in the interest of public reliance, to provide information on their professional activity, on the organisation and structure of the firm, and on any specialisations and scientific and professional qualifications held.
2. Information disseminated publicly by any means, including electronic, must be transparent, truthful, accurate, unambiguous, non-misleading, non-disparaging, non-suggestive and non-comparative.
3. In any event, the information provided must refer to the nature and limits of the professional obligation.
Article 17-bis – Methods of Providing Information.
A lawyer who intends to provide information on their professional activity must indicate:
- • the name of the firm, with the indication of the names of the professionals of which it is composed where the profession is practised in associated or corporate form;
- the Bar Council with which each member of the firm is registered; the principal place of practice, any secondary offices and contact details, including address, telephone numbers, fax, email and website, if active;
- the professional title which enables a foreign lawyer to practise in Italy, or an Italian lawyer to practise abroad, in accordance with European Union directives.
The lawyer may also indicate:
- academic qualifications;
- specialisation diplomas obtained at university institutions;
- admission to practise before the higher courts;
- the areas of professional practice and, within these, any fields of predominant activity;
- languages spoken;
- the firm’s logo;
- the details of the professional liability insurance policy;
- any quality certification of the firm; a lawyer who intends to mention a quality certification must file with the Bar Council the supporting documentation of the valid certification, together with the full details of the certifying body and the scope of the certification officially recognised by the State.
The lawyer may use exclusively websites with domains that are their own and directly attributable to themselves, to the associated law firm, or to the law firm of which they are a member, subject to timely notification to the Bar Council of registration of the form and content in which the website is expressed. The professional is responsible for the content of the website and must indicate therein the data provided for in the first paragraph. The website may not contain commercial and/or advertising references through direct indication or by means of banners or pop-ups of any kind.
